Why do you need to be compliant?

  • Protect your assets

  • Limit your liability

  • OSHA is using NFPA 70E as a national consensus standard for citations

  • Identify potential hazards

  • Reduce the risk of violations and citations

What if you don't become compliant?

  • Increases your risk for electrical hazards

  • Exposes your potential for willful violations

  • Greatly increases your facility's liability

How do you become compliant?

  1. Maintain an updated NFPA 70E safety plan

  2. Train and qualify employees in NFPA 70E compliance

  3. Generate, update and post a one-line diagram

    1. Our standard deliverable includes an up to date CAD one-line containing pertinent and important information regarding NFPA 70E compliance such as equipment section designations. Note: This is not the 'typical' one-line generated from engineering software (provided in most of our competitors' studies). This is extremely detailed and is a vital piece of compliance when personnel have to identify potential hazards.

  4. Perform an Incident Energy Analysis and apply Arc Flash Labels

    1. Our standard deliverable includes:

      1. Incident Energy/ArcFlash Analysis (NFPA 70E)

      2. Short Circuit Analysis

      3. Coordination Analysis

  5. Provide employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  6. Electrical Predictive and Preventative Maintenance per NFPA 70B
